Don’t know how to explain that , but there are many who crave solitude in the midst of a crowd , the weird combination of both might confuse many , but I can explain. There are many amongst us who are either Introverts or Extroverts, and furthermore we have an other category called Ambivert , who have the ingredients of both spices. They are deeply introverts and yet very daring enough to face the crowd.Infact ,Carl Jung said ,”There is no such thing as a pure introvert or extrovert. Such a person would be in the lunatic asylum”.
There are some whose heart and soul desires company and conversations, they feel themselves alive in the crowd , and then there are some who loves the crowds but when the mind begins to feel exhausted and need to recharge energies they crawl into their caves. Laurie Helgoe, an American psychologist said , “A good rule of thumb is that any environment that consistently leaves you feeling bad about who you are is the wrong environment”. Those introverts who are over thinkers aswell, they are better around people, so their thoughts can drift from one to another, floating is better for them , rather than sitting alone and letting one thought eat them away, loneliness is a poison for their soul, they’re the ones who you’ll find alone but alive among the fellow humans.
They prefer to sit in a corner and drink the energies and sounds of humans , their movements and actions are something of a food for the mind , a good distraction indeed, they’re undoubtedly good observers and at the same time they know how to communicate when they’re around mind like souls. Like Michaela Chung says ,”Don’t underestimate me because I’m quiet. I know more than I say, think more than I speak, and observe more than you know”.On the other hand those introverts who are not shackled by the burden of overthinking, they find solace in their own company, for them the Crowds are not a company they cherish.
Our creation is extremely complicated, it takes years to understand our ownself completely and master the art of handling ourselves, we are so busy in materialistic success and worldly matters that we dont take time to understand our being . Chose the crowds or your own company wisely , discover your inner voice
