During the trials and tribulations, many restless and weak souls cave into the pressure, lured by the satanic ideas , they begin to question the plans of the creator of heaven and earth, many among us , after witnessing any misery deny the existence of divine love for us .Ibn Taymiyyah said , ” A calamity that makes you turn to Allah is better for you than a blessing which makes you forget the remembrance of Allah”.
He says in the Quran,”والله يحب الصابرين ” , Allah loves the Patient ones (3:147) , that is one of the gift of the creator now one of the really important point for a lot of Muslims is that they don’t understand the nature of divine love ,and some Christians have always argued that Islam is not a religion of love, that to me is a completely false argument , when the source of Islam Prophet Muhammad, who is called “حبيب الله” , The Beloved of God , showing us that love is the beginning and end of this path. Love , undeniably is the root of Islamic tradition and in fact there are many different types of love in Arabic tradition the Quran uses terms like ” المودة” meaning affection, that Allah puts between the Servants of the merciful , an affectionate love and it’s an unconditional type of love,its the love he puts between the loving spouse,and that is one of the names of God aswell “الودود ” means The Most Loving . On the other hand ,he despises the opressors , as he says in the Quran ” انا الله لا يحب الظالمين “.
We humans and especially the believers have to understand the divine love , his mercy and his affection for us.God loves his creation , despite their denial, or rejection of the divine love and message, God loves everybody, except the oppressors , and indeed those who deny him are oppressing their souls ,they eventually end up oppressing others aswell without even realizing it, by taking away their rights , by mentally, emotionally or physically causing them harm. Contrary to the common believe, which is based on ignorance, the Quran shows love for the disbelievers and believers equally , that includes the atheists ,the Jew ,the Christians and the rest , he has stated, he despises their contempt and denial , but still awaits for them to accept his love .
Moreover ,He loves those who have patience and awaits his companionship and love , Faith and patience is a great gift from the creator, the word in Arabic is تقوى , which means fear of the creator and piety , The Quran says , “Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” Quran 49:13. “Indeed, Allah loves the Muttaqeen.”( 3:76) , the way to him is learning patience and understanding his love , be humble and have faith during the time of tribulations and you’ll find immortal love , opening the universe to you, just let your soul wander, explore and have faith.
