Since Israel launched operations in Gaza, I cannot remember in my lifetime the daily documentation of mass war crimes on the scale that we are witnessing in Gaza and the West Bank. We are supposed to believe that Israel has a fabled divine inheritance to a piece of land that they proclaim to defend against an enemy that is somehow both inept barbarians yet meticulously witty enough to carry out a large-scale attack that allegedly killed over a thousand people.
I have a question: what is one of the main reasons why supporters of Israel and government officials claim that Israel is America’s number one ally in the Middle East or even our only ally in the region?
Because Israel is who the United States goes to get intel on terror threats and terror groups, we are fed the notion that Israel did not know this attack was going to happen.
The New York Times published an article one month after October 7th with a title that read, “Israel Knew of Hamas’s Attack Plan More Than a Year Ago,” if that isn’t bad enough, there is concrete evidence of insider trading in Israel’s securities and arms industry leading up to October 7th. This whole idea that what Israel is doing right now in Gaza is only happening because of the events of October 7th goes out the window because we have proof that Israel had advance knowledge of the October 7th attacks. Israel’s securities and arms industries are making billions off of the genocidal actions Israel is committing in Gaza.
Law Professors Robert Jackson Jr. from New York University and Joshua Mitts of Columbia University published a 66-page report titled Trading on Terror?, which meticulously documents short-selling and insider trading in the days before the October 7th attack.
John Kirby recently invoked the alleged horrors of October 7th when asked a question by a reporter in the White House briefing room. The reporter asked Kirby about Israel’s airstrikes on a refugee camp in a designated safe zone that killed an estimated 66 people, most of which were women and children. Kirby was quick to point out that two Hamas fighters were also killed in this bombing as if the killing of dozens of innocent civilians is somehow justified.
The United Nations Charter states that people being occupied have a legal right to fight back against their occupiers, and that includes armed resistance. We are constantly told that Hamas attacked innocent Israeli civilians attending a music festival, and we are told that women were brutally raped and babies were gruesomely decapitated. All of these claims have been debunked. We were not told that Hamas attacked three separate military bases that day or that over 70% of 1,200 victims were active members of the IDF. Some other important facts are often left out of the discussion, like the fact that Israel killed their own civilians on October 7th and that still, nine months after the attack, the public has not been shown a single picture or video to corroborate Israel’s wild claims about what happened on October 7th.
Recently, an Israeli hostage, Alexander Trufanov, appeared in a video released by the Saraya Al-Quds and stated that the only reason he is alive is because of the Saraya Al-Quds “perserving his life” from Israeli airstrikes. Alexander Trufanov criticized the Israeli leadership directly.
“I want to tell you the truth: the Netanyahu government and the security leadership are lying to you and telling you that they want to bring us back through military pressure, but in fact, they are seeking to kill us. They do not want to pay the price of bringing us back alive; they want to bring back corpses. It is much cheaper and more cost-effective for them to return corpses. This is why I am appealing to you, the protesters, to demonstrate, make noise, and apply pressure.”
Of course, we have to take Alexander Trufanov’s words with a grain of salt because he is being held captive by an armed resistance group. However, let’s take his statement and combine it with the New York Times article about Israeli having advanced knowledge of the Hamas attack a year ago and the fact that there was insider trading in Israel’s security and arms industries leading up to the Hamas attack last October. It should be clear to any sound-minded person that Israel’s assault on Gaza is just another manufactured conflict.
West Executive Advisors’ website lists a cascade of former Department of Defense people, Obama administration cabinet members, and former CIA officials, like the Deputy Director of the CIA, Daniel S. Cohen, and Deputy US Attorney General Lisa Monaco. Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence, the disaster mind behind Obama’s extrajudicial drone killings of American citizens overseas while she was the Deputy Director of the CIA, and that is just to name a few.
West Executive Advisors’ website does not list Blinken as a co-founder, but a quick search of the Internet Archive confirms that Blinken was previously listed as a co-founder. Sergio Aguirre, former National Security Council Director and U.N. Ambassador Sarah Powers’s chief of staff, is another co-founder of West Executive Advisors. Former CIA Director John Brennan is also part of the West Executive Advisors team, comprising over 60 former intelligence agents, generals, ambassadors, and government employees.
Blinken also has ties to Pine Island Capital Investors, a shell company that funnels money to West Executive Advisors founded in 2018 by CIT Group and Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain, former Goldman Sachs executive Phil Cooper, and ex-Coca-Cola executive Clyde Tuggle. The current Secretary of Defense, Loyd Austin, was part of Pine Island’s advisement team before his cabinet nomination. Anthony Blinken stated he would cut all ties to West Executive Advisors before he was nominated. While Blinken publicly cut ties to West Executive Advisors, he has yet to divest from Pine Island Capital Investors.
Powerful people in the Israeli government, the United States government, and the military-industrial complex of both countries positioned themselves to profit billions of dollars in the days after the October 7th attack. Anthony Blinken is a perfect example; in 2017, Anthony Blinken founded West Executive Advisors, a relatively small consulting company with a national security portfolio larger than that of most countries. Blinken founded West Executive Advisors with Michèle Flournoy, the former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy with the Obama administration and a former Boeing Board member. The Intercept published an article in 2021 detailing all the connections between West Executive Advisors and the U.S. and Israeli intelligence and arms industries.
